The Seiko Prospex HBC002J1 is a modern re-interpretation of Japan's iconic 1968 hi-beat diver's watch — the timepiece that defined a generation of professional diving. Now reimagined in commanding Oceanic Black, it introduces something entirely new to the Prospex family: mechanical GMT.
Powered by the in-house Calibre 6R54, the HBC002J1 becomes the first Seiko diver's watch to feature a mechanical GMT movement, allowing you to track a second time zone with the ease of a rotating 24-hour hand. With an automatic movement, 72-hour power reserve and 24 jewels, this is precision engineering built not just for the ocean, but for life at pace across time zones.
The case, 42mm in diameter and 13.3mm thin , is crafted from polished and brushed stainless steel, topped with a scratch-resistant Japanese ceramic diving bezel and protected by anti-reflective sapphire crystal. At 300 metres of water resistance, reinforced by a screw-down crown and screw case back, this watch is genuinely built for the depths.
On the wrist, the experience is equally considered. The stainless steel bracelet is engineered with a low centre of gravity and short-pitch links, sitting flush and comfortable even during active wear. The three-fold clasp with micro-adjustment allows a precise, personalised fit, down to the millimetre. LumiBrite on hands, indexes and bezel ensures legibility in total darkness, at depth or above.
The black dial is bold without being brash: clean indices, a sweeping seconds hand and the confident stop-seconds function complete a watch that transitions effortlessly from boardroom to boat.

Delivery will be made by Royal Mail Special Next Day delivery requiring a signature on receipt. Please allow at least 3 - 5 working days from acceptance of your order for delivery. We hope you will love your purchase, but should you change your mind, a refund or exchange on online purchases can be requested within 14 days of receiving delivery. If you wish to return an item, it must be in its original unused condition and packaging.
Refunds will be provided against the original payment method or credit/debit card used to complete the purchase. If you wish to return your product, please use a secure return service with the appropriate insurance level and with full tracking, as you are responsible until this product is received. If your return is due to a damaged or defective product then we will refund the delivery charges and pay your costs of returning it to Deacons.
