Luxury Showrooms at our flagship Swindon store

 Deacons Jewellers Showrooms

We are so pleased to finally be able to re-open our doors and invite you into our newly refurbished luxury showrooms at our flagship Swindon store. Lockdown has meant that our new look has remained under wraps too long!

In 2018 we celebrated our 170th anniversary as jewellers, a time to reflect on our history and look forward to the future. We decided to begin a major refurbishment of our showrooms to introduce some modernity whilst preserving the historic Old Town building features. Maintaining a personal and intimate shopping experience for our customers has been equally important. Luxury jewellery and giftware purchases should be relaxed, considered and enjoyable.

Our expert and experienced team are here to welcome you and we hope you will savour browsing our showrooms. With separately styled spaces for our leading watch and jewellery brands it feels like our very own jewellery quarter housed within one building. The building which has been home for Deacons Jewellers since 1848.

Watch & Jewellery Show Areas

Our watch and jewellery brands are showcased throughout the ground floor of our Swindon shop. A myriad of spaces to explore our Rolex, Tudor, Bremont and many more names in luxury watches. A treasure trove of cabinets housing our diverse jewellery ranges including Clogau and Fope. And comfortable seating areas for consultations and an opportunity to try on your favourite pieces.

Clock Showroom

Our ornate wall hung Comitti clocks hint at the extensive collection of new and restored antique timepieces you will find by following the staircase beneath. Clock making features richly in our history and remains a big part of our culture today. Explore our extensive selection of long, mantel and wall mounted clocks in our basement showroom.

If you are interested in clocks and history don't miss taking a look at our historic regulator clock located with our Seiko & Grand Seiko show area back on the ground floor level. It was made by Deacon & Son Ltd around 1865 when the company held one of the timing contracts for the Great Western Railway on the line between Paddington and Swansea. Before radio and the telephone gave universally available timing, accurate time keeping had to be maintained locally and this was usually done by the means of the regulator clock.

Gifts on Show

With jewellery and watches being popular special gifts it is fair to say that most of our ranges can be considered as gifts. Additionally, for vintage fans we have pre-loved pieces. For drinkers we have hip flasks and tankards. For ladies we have jewellery accessories and for men we have watch accessories. For homes we have china, glassware and silverware. We like to think we have something for everyone and our team will be on hand to offer advice and guidance.

Please enjoy your visit. We would love to hear what you think of our new look.
