A modern re-interpretation of the 1978 quartz diver. The unique aspect of Seiko’s 1978 diver was the case construction. Until now it has been difficult to produce smaller versions for every-day use, as well as for underwater use, for recreational or novice divers. Seiko has now invented a technique to keep the outer protector while reducing the depth of the watch to just 11.5mm and the diameter to just 46.7mm providing a watch that can be worn for every occasion.
