Watch Workshop

Deacons' new purpose built watch workshop was completed in 1996. Deacons' fully qualified watch technicians are able to repair and service all types of watches, from antique pocket watches through to the latest radio controlled wrist watches. All high class watch brands can be serviced on the premises. Being official Rolex retailers, Deacons are able to offer an after sales service second to none with the full backup of Rolex U.K. for all necessary spare parts.
There are many thousands of spare watch parts existing in the company's storage system dating back to the start of the company in 1848. This enables Deacons to offer an almost unique repair service where older time pieces are concerned. Despite the advance of technology people still appreciate real working time pieces which makes a trip round Deacons' watch workshop an interesting experience that can be arranged by special appointment.
The measurement of time continues to fascinate mankind with new watch and clock designs becoming popular once more. Deacons' watch workshop is magnificently equipped to not only upkeep time pieces from past but also to meet the new challenges of the next century.

Mr R. Bilton, Workshop Director, working on a Rolex watch repair.
Deacons not only repair wrist watches, a 20th Century product, but also pocket watches which were very much the common form of every day time keeping in the 19th Century.
Refurbished in 1996, the new watch workshop is equipped with the latest cleaning machines from Switzerland.
