1840's French Striking ClockDeacons specialise in the sale of antique clocks. All clocks are fully overhauled in the company's workshops and carry a 12 month guarantee. There is a good selection of English and French 8 day mantel and carriage clocks as well as long case clocks.

Deacons' new Clock Showroom was opened at the end of July 1998 and is located alongside the main jewellery and watch department. The showroom contains modern and antique clocks of every description, Quartz and Mechanical, including all types of longcase clocks, striking and chiming wall and mantel clocks, carriage clocks, desk clocks, kitchen clocks and even alarm clocks. 1830s Sienna Marble and Bronze Cased ClockThere is also a large selection of barometers, both aneroid and mercury. A visit to this particular showroom is nothing but fascinating and represents a large part of the history of the company, being a particular passion of the late Michael Deacon and his forebears, George and Hubert, who supplied clocks, pocket watches and other timing equipment to the Great Western Railway.

The millennium is now here and man's thirst for time keeping is undiminished. Deacons' new Clock Showroom certainly offers an incredible selection of time measuring equipment for the future.
